M.D. Víctor López Valerio is a Traumatologist with a degree in Medicine from the University of Monterrey. He did his specialty in Traumatology and Orthopedics at the Christus Muguerza Hospital. Later, he completed a postgraduate degree in arthroscopy and sports traumatology at the Catalan Federation of Footballers in Barcelona, Spain. He also has a postgraduate degree in Joint Reconstruction and Cartilage Repair at Brigham & Woman’s Harvard Medical School Hospital.
He is currently certified by organizations such as the Mexican Council of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the Mexican College of Orthopedic Traumatology of Nuevo León; He frequently attends conferences and medical seminars to keep up to date on the latest available treatments.
Dr. Víctor López Valerio is certified as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. This title means that the education and training of Dr. Valerio, as well as his professional qualifications, surgical competence, and his ethical conduct, have passed a rigorous evaluation and that meets the high standards established and required by the American College of Surgeons organization. In fact, Dr. Víctor Valerio is currently the only orthopedic surgeon in Monterrey, certified by FACS.
